My favorite activity was one we developed on site with the kids – we made light up “fresh catch” fish necklaces by re-purposing one of Trisha’s custom cement paver molds as a stamp, adding string and simple circuit components (i.e. LED + battery).
It was a one day event so we had plenty of time to explore the city and eat yummy food too. Another highlight for me was finally swinging by the rest stop at the NASA Stennis Space Center to see the 30-foot-tall Lunar Lander replica used as a trainer by the Apollo 13 astronauts : )
